FOLLOWING THE PERILOUS PATH
From the fascinating detailed account of this holy narrative, we are shown that if the holy charge of reaching the throne was left up to David to accomplish, it would have never been achieved, because at this crucial juncture he succumbed to powerfully persuasive, spirit debilitating impulses of self-inspired doubt and despair.

Moreover, he elected to embrace a “faith-faltering” course of life that could have completely ruined the divine plans that were appointed for his life - if the course of matters were left in his fallible hands.

As such, herein we observe the kindred point of familiarity and relevance that we can presently and practically relate too. Here too, we discover the kindred propensity that continually poses challenge to us as we venture along the path of our faith sojourn.
Moreover, from the critical review of this hallowed biblical narrative the Lord provides us with important insight and instructions in righteousness designed to divert us from stepping across the threshold of transgression and venturing within the dark province of this sin-mired sphere that severs us from experiencing the blessing of spiritual growth and advancement in our lives.

Scripture has openly disclosed the sure fact that David foolishly elected to traverse along the perilous path of faltering faith.
And, equally through the same inspired account, we are given the stern holy charge not to followed in his footsteps, so that our lives might avoid the spiritual hazards that he experienced; and which too yet awaits all that choose to disobey this important strict divine prohibition.
