The Giver of True Rest

until our spiritual relationship status changes from that of resistant unbelief, contentious enmity and open rebellion to that of miraculous reconciliation, imparted peace and endearing harmony, we (fallen humanity) will never experience the ‘true rest’ that only He authors and offers.

this grand reality which is fully manifest by vivid details presented in this inspired, scriptural life account does not mean that we can begin to freely let down our guard and turn down the intensity dial of our heart posture of diligence.

albeit we must honestly confess that we are absolutely, ecstatically overjoyed when we enter seasons of God granted rest; yet too, we must also admit that even such natural endowments do not truly satisfy the deep longings of the new born inner man.
