the unique manner by which Jericho was to be defeated was designed to universally telegraph the message to all the inhabitants of the land that the true force that they had to reckon with was the awesome might of Heaven, not the meager numbers of God’s human agents.

Resistance Despite

defiantly, the inhabitants of Jericho had placed their full confidence in the towering great walls (inner & outer that the encompassed entire perimeter of the city to defend them from whatever measure of opposition that would be launched against them by the ingenuity & craft of human hands; however, they never remotely considered the fact that their real opponent was Almighty God.
